Our latest public auction includes two extensive British Commonwealth collections. Two well filled Imperial albums for QV to 1935 mint and used with over 10,000 different stamps and a huge catalogue value, Lot 1 Estimate price £10,000. The second collection is mainly mint King George Sixth in a red printed album with plenty of key stamps and many countries complete with an enormous catalogue value. (Lot 2 Estimate £4500).
Amongst the mixed section plenty of estate boxes and then a huge world collection split into country lots in springback or Davo albums covering many foreign areas unpicked as received.
A key North Borneo Red Cross overprint set fine used complete with a Brandon certificate (Lot 545). Strong section of United States, some useful China, Great Britain 1840 1d blacks, GB QEII including booklets, and a superb collection of Isle of Wight early letters and postal history.
A very varied sale with plenty to go at many without reserve.
