Circa 1905 Around Thirty Four pen and ink hand coloured illustrated postcard sized cards all signed by J Farquharson around 1904-1908, huge range of different subjects including various ladies of fashion head and shoulder portraits, trumpeter, EDVII dated 17th Nov. 1904, shouting boy, beach lady, golfer, RH old man in red uniform, Waiter at Lyons tea room, lady walking her dog, woman beating up man 'Just like the ivy', Native African man in head dress, Billiards, etc, some have tape marks on corners and or toning, all unique and hand drawn and coloured. Joseph Farquharson was a Scottish painter chiefly landscapes mostly famous for his snowy winter landscapes. This formed part of an estate lot of illustrated commercial covers to a Miss Leadbetter in Rosett or London but those were unsigned. Fascinating and totally unique.
