EIGHT 17th & 18th Century Indentures from the UK being very large vellum type documents folded incl 1691, 1693, 1697, 1713, 1719, 1735, a couple with blue embossed revenue stamps. Some aging as usual but interesting early legal documents. (8).
GERMANY:1932 & 1936 OLYMPICS Large illustrated hardback books in attractive covers completed during the period with photographic illustrations that were issued by Cigarrette company Cigaretten Bilderdienst Altona - Bahrenfeld; and then stuck in neatly in the appropriate position. All show illustrations of the GERMAN competitors in various poses and show the influence of the rise of the German Nazi party. Also a similar book concerning President Hindenburg issued in 1934. All in fine condition and a very interesting insight into the pre war years in the Third Reich. (3 books).
HONG KONG & The Treaty Ports of Asia by F W Webb, original 1961 printing 493pp No.436 of 500 limited printing. Only few marks on the hardback cover and slight bend on top right corner, comes complete with the original Scarcity & Valuation Guide (soft back cover, faults), also numbered 436 that came with the original book. Superb reference.
PRAKAIPET INDHUSOPHON Collection of Siam, a superb full colour hard back book 230pp with slipcase as originally printed showing the stamps and covers shown in International Stamp Exhibitions 1981-1989 arranged chronologically in groups. Published in 1989, a must for any Siam collector! Very fine.
RYOHEI ISHIKAWA Collection of stamps and postal history of Hong Kong Treaty Ports hardbacked Sotheby's auction catalogue of 1980 sale held at London. A few marks on the outer cover, embossed in gold on green hardback. No prices realised but a superb reference.
