P.O.W. MAIL:WWI Accumulation of covers sent to Copenhagen,Denmark, ALL stampless with group of small envelopes bearing TOLNA (Hungary) cds and triangular censor marking in purple (18), larger envelopes with 'K.U.K. OFFIZIERSTATION / KRIEGGEFANGENE / THERESIENSTADT' handstamp and triangular censor in shades of purple (8) and another with red censor, group of fronts with Osnabruck (Germany) special cancel (4) and further envelopes with postmarks of PRAGUE (2), LUGOS (Romania), ZYWIEC (Poland) & BUCZACZ (Ukraine)all with censor markings. Very good lot in better than average condition (32, plus 4 fronts)

SAS 22nd A squadron, Penang - 1954 (7 Jan) DAMAGED BY SEA-WATER boxed h/s in black on stampless Forces Airmail envelope sent by TPR Lees, A Squadron, 22nd Special Air Service Regt, Minden Brics, Penang, Malaya. With SAS printed flap 'Who Dares Wins' green and black monogram. Addressed to UK with I.S. triangle h/s (the black handstamp not recorded in Nierinck) after forwarding from BOAC Flight 781 that crashed at Italy on a flight from Singapore to London which exploded in mid flight due to a mechanical fault. The cover has faults commensurate with a wreck cover, includes sellotape affixed upon salvage. Unusual military env. from the SAS stationed in Penang for the Malayan Emergency (1948-60) to defeat a communist revolt in Malaya supporting 24 infantry battalions in Malaya from a variety of Commonwealth countries. Scarce and possibly unique.

FRANCE: 1917 (May) WWI Useful correspondence from Infanterie 158 Lyon to Vosges France from infantryman during the Nivelle Offensive at the Battle of Chemins Des Dames where 200,000 French soldiers were killed. Each postcard bearing a variety of FRANCAISE POSTAL 158 REGIMENT D'INFANTIERIE LYON cachets in violet, also includes other handstamps including Temporary Hospital, Commission Militare Dijon, F.P.M.
