1930 (3 July) Karachi to London First Mail service via Imperial Airways flight on 11th July cover bearing single 8d franking tied Christchurch Telephone slogan cancel bearing the correct rate of 7d plus surface postage rate of 1d and red manuscript Karachi - London top left. The cover went by sea from Auckland to Sydney on the Ulimaroa on 11-15th July. And then by rail to Perth and sent from Fremantle on the P & O Mailboat Mongolia, offloaded at Colombo sent by surface mail to Karachi then flown to London. Fine.
