1893-1910 Mint and used assembly on two old time Schaubek printed pages, good range of issues noted 1893 5l red and blue part original gum (thins and mounted heavily, Cat £600), 1895 set mainly used, 1903 set mainly used to 5l (Cat £60 on paper), odd mint are stuck down but not counted, good catalogue value. Revenue: 1941 WW2 Fiscal stamps surcharged 3r on 5rpf green, 5r on 5rpf purple, 30r on 25rpf red & 60r on 50rpf orange and red all in unmounted mint blocks of 4 Barefoot 290/294. Nice and seldom offered in blocks. (16 revenues).
South Georgia 1948 17th December Large acknowledgement of a Postal Order to the value of 12/6d for Postage Stamps, which has a list of the values paid for and signed G.W.J. Bowles for the Deputy Postmaster in pencil, obvious folds to make it letter size and sent to Maltby UK. Nice item of ephemera that would make a nice addition to an exhibit on the Falklands.
1933 (30 Dec) POSTAGE DUE ' Panton' cover with 'Insufficiently Prepaid' handstamp in black sent to the Cayman Islands bearing 1933 Centenary ½d black and green. The cover reached Georgetown on AP 25 1934 and had Two of the Centenary ¼d & single ½d added to pay double the ½d deficiency. Choice quality,scarce and attractive cover neatly written up on album page.
