1865-67 Original assembly of 4d vermilion plates 9 to 11 mainly in pairs on paper with a variety of different numeral cancel incl 733, 509, 700, 195, 140, 5, 186, 139, 648, 754, includes a few singles, good cat value. (13 pairs, 13 singles, cat £3500).
1868 (30 July) Cover Bristol to France bearing 4d vermilion pair pl.9 tied good strike of 134 Clifton Bristol cancels, folded on the left, with PD in red, ANGL. CALAIS on obv, variety of backstamps. Small faults SG 95 Cat £280 on cover.
1878 ½d Brown P/S card to Derby cancel fair-good Bletchley Station 025 duplex Ap 6 78. Tiny soils and centre fold, overall sound condition.
1880 2½d rosy-mauve plate 17 on cover Shewsbury to Geneva tied numeral cancel, scarce plate on cover.
1880 2d pale rose mint large part original gum, small amount of paper adherence on reverse, lovely bright colour, SG 168.
1881 2½d blue plate 22 in a mint / unmounted mint strip of three, two stamps are U/M, very fine, SG 157.
1887 1½d dull purple and green a small group of perfinned blocks of 8 (9), blocks of 6 (4), blocks of 4 (3), mixed condition mostly on original paper with a variety of cancels, perfins are fancy AI s. (108 stamps). Cat £1900+.
