1932 (17 Oct) Unfranked cover from Windhoek sent locally (philatelic) bearing ½d black and green PAIR tied same WINDHOEK CDS. Nice philatelic item, rated £300 as commercial use.
Attractive group of mainly GV/GVI covers including 1928 6d orange tree on Rail Post cvr tied oval ARIAMS cancel, 1931 triangle tied on airmail cvr by FLUGPOST d/r h/s, GV ½d green wrapper unused, 1937 Coronation set in pairs on four large covers (4 sets), 1954 set to 10s on airmail cover. Nice group (9).
Officials: 1929 (July) Dark blue printed OHMS registered cover Windhoek to UK bearing 2d pair (right marginal) showing no stop after official variety and two 1d pairs each tied d/r WINDHOEK cds cancels. A little roughly opening and hinge marks on reverse but striking official use rate x 15 on cover. SG O6/7a. Huge cat value.
1907-11 EDVII set to 10s hinged mint including extras for ½d, 1d & 6d, SG 33/43. (14).
SPECIMEN Overprints on Queen Victoria 1d pink env., 1d carmine single card, 2d blue registered env., EDVII ½d on 1d red surcharge single card, 1d red reply card, few tones otherwise nice group of 4 items.
1913-1964 Mint and used assembly on exercise leaves with better throughout incl 1924 Admiral heads duplicated used values incl 2s, 2/6 (2), 5s (Cat £500), approx. 270.
1924-1937 Small collection on leaves mint and used, stamps to note, 1924 10d used SG 9, 1s.6d used SG11, 1931 1s SG23a, lots of different shades, interesting lot. High cat value.
1926 (20 Mar) 4d blue GV registered postal stationery envelope uprated with 1d Admiral pair tied GATOOMA cds cancels addr to UK with pink GATOOMA No. 1058 regd etiquette alongside, faults incl tones and gum stains. H & G 2.
1934 GV 1½d brown tied to PPC to Beira showing native in silhouette on a canoe with Palms and grasses, sent from Victoria Falls, few minor tones.
1944-1953 Four postal history items incl 1944 GVI plain postcard bearing 1d GVI defin tied UMTALI cds, 1949 1d lettercard on blue Salisbury to Bulawayo re court payments, 1952-3 two Acknowledgment of receipt printed postal cards with 3d Victoria Falls with receiving MACHEKE cds and 1953 QEII 3d defin tied Sinoia cds. Faults but intr group.
