1911 Incoming postcard from Istanbul The Mosque of St Sophie bearing 10p green tied on obverse by Stamboul cds, addressed to Tientsin sent via SEA POST OFFICE BOMBAY - ADEN cds, and BOMBAY cds with boxed MALDIRIGE denoting miss-sorted to Bombay in error with Shanghai BPO transit and Tien-tsin arrival cds. few marks otherwise fascinating postcard. Late use of the Indian Maldirige recorded in 1893 onwards.
